Wastewaters commonly contain plant nutrients, particularly nitrogen and phosphorus that are often applied as artificial fertilizers to irrigated fodders and crops. Reclaimed water has been used for landscape and agricultural irrigation all over the world and these practices have been documented as an effective method to use water resources wisely and efficiently.
