Acknowledging the fact that a gradual increase in the life expectancy of the people has been reported worldwide, there is an immense need for strengthening geriatric services on a global scale. As future health care professionals, we all will be dealing with elderly people in our clinical practice, and thus it is very important that we are aware of the problems encountered by geriatric people and the strategies that can be implemented to manage their problems.
