I wrote this with the aim to look into the portrayal of women in media especially those who do item numbers. I would also look into the matter that how due to the lack of relevance of item numbers in movies today, the portrayal is negative. Whether this in turn has led to a negative stereotypical representation of women in general was also a concern of the study.
