This book deals with the development and subsequent characterization of a novel Iron (Fe) based Bulk Metallic Glass. Seven Fe based compositions were developed in the Fe-W-Ti-Cr-C-La system. In addition to this, three Lanthanum (La) and one Zirconium (Zr) based compositions were also studied for comparison. Furthermore, as part of the development phase of our work, a casting equipment was designed and engineered to cast and vitrify the samples for BMG formation.
