This work presents clear descriptions of the karyotypes of seven species of the genus Chlorophytum and one species belonging to the genus Anthericum of which three are endemic to Ethiopia. The karyotypes of all species in such very book are the first report for Ethiopia. The authors strongly believe that the book provides very useful information to researchers in the area of plant cytotaxonomy and karyosytematics.
