This book is based on a research idea which exploits the relative mobility of nodes in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) for the enhancement of overall throughput of the network. The hypothesis is proved using simulations in the OPNET modeler, a tool built for the purpose. An implementation of Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol, already made available by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to facilitate researchers, is used as a benchmark to compare our findings.
