About the Author Janis was raised in a large family, the oldest of 6 children, and we moved about in Missouri, Kansas, and then to Chula Vista, California; where after high school graduation she married the love of her life, Ray. The couple had 2 children, Steven and Bryan, and later after going into the ministry helped encourage a very special girl through high school as well. She entered the ministry in 1973, while living in the Denver, Colorado area, and has been ministering ever since, which adds up to 43 years in the ministry.
