The Bible says more, by far, about "words spoken and heard" than any other topic. How we speak is near and dear to the heart of God. He has made us in His image and likeness by both creation and the new birth. Our mouths, lips and tongues can and should express that likeness to God more than any other member of our physical body. That is the design and desire of God. For God's children to sound like Him is not only possible through God, but is expected by Him. Every person, including believers, will give account for every idle, careless word spoken. That is a stern warning from Jesus Himself....
