Stories can be a great way to teach children or to just get a point across. Anyone who has an autistic child knows how difficult it can be for them to understand things-sometimes it seems impossible. I will often try to turn learning valuable life lessons into fun little stories. It helps to lighten the mood and relieve a little tension in the midst of a frustrating day. Learning is not only very hard, but also very frustrating for some children. The more fun and interesting you can make it, the nicer it will be for them.
