In the Gospels Jesus proclaims that He will "build His Church." In the Book of Acts we see the beginnings and spread of His Church. Throughout the epistles we see the good, the bad and the ugly of the struggling Church. In Revelation chapters 2-3 we find John writing to seven literal churches in Asia Minor. It has been about 65 years since the Lord's ascension. Jesus through John is asking . . . "Hey it's been a while. Let's see how are you guys doing?"
