Shirley Yokley Smith and her husband of sixty years are parents of four children. They have eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. From these family experiences she shares laughs, lessons, and love. She began a thirty-year teaching career as a classroom teacher, then became a reading specialist and spent the last half of her career as a teacher of learning disabled students.
