Born in a cluster of stars, Aithne is a faerie, and she comes to people in their darkest times, when they need a second soul the most. She looks like a little girl, but she grows, not with time, but with experience and the people she encounters.

Throughout her short, but meaningful journey, she helps damaged people find their way. First, she meets Clara in the 1950s. Clara, devastated after her husband’s death, has no idea how to cope with it. Aithne intervenes in the forest and shines her light onto Clara. Then, Arthur’s tear summons Aithne; his love story ended too...
