The present study investigates the steady state creep in a rotating thick-walled composite cylinder, with constant angular speed and made up of aluminum matrix and reinforced with silicon carbide particles (SiC). The distribution of SiC is assumed to be either uniform or decreasing linearly from the inner to the outer radius of the cylinder.
