In the present study, it was found that the idiom knowledge of the students was very low. It can be observed that overall instructional idiom package was found to be effective for all the items that were taken in the idiom package. It was found that the students' scores improved in post test. All students showed improvement in their scores. Convert into English and convert into idioms was given to the students to see their all over knowledge of idioms. None of the students could attempt it correctly in the pre-test.
