This book represents the culmination of a research project that explores the relationships among variables that impact caregiver strain and depression among Older African American spousal caregivers of mates with Alzheimer's Disease. Forty older spousal caregivers completed questionnaires that measured caregiver strain, depression, marital relationship quality, boundary ambiguity and spirituality.
