The brink and pedantic forecast of the World Bank regarding forest depletion in Nepal proved wrong with the success of community forestry. This book deals with dimensions of community forestry and is based on a case study: Kumariban community forest. Community forestry has replenished greenery in the denuded hills however most of the poor and deprived people have not benefitted from the programme.
