Maize being the highest yielding cereal
crop in the world is of significant importance for
countries like Pakistan, where rapidly increasing
population has already out stripped the available food

Groundnut being arid agriculture crop is facing serious pod yield reducing threats. The global warming further deteriorates this menace and now drought emerges as major limiting factor in groundnut yield maximization.
