This study explores, analyses and discusses the development and evolution of Zimbabwean gospel music from 1980 up to 2007. A general overview of gospel music in Zimbabwe is given and relevant literature on gospel music is reviewed. Selected Zimbabwean gospel musicians and their music are discussed.
