These stories were written by a hopeless romantic. I believe everyone should be in love; young, old, and in between; men and women. Consequently, every story has a Hollywood ending and all my live happily ever after. Almost every love story in the book was influenced by a true incident I had heard about. The Inlet is a novel rich in plot and full of wonderful characters. We meet lovers, mafia bosses, their families, and their henchmen. Of course, the underlying theme is love, and there is lots of it. But more than that, the novel treats us to one plot twist after the other. The reader is constantly surprised that things never develop as they expect them to. This sweeping tale takes us from the New York metropolitan area, to romantic hideaways in upstate New York, and to luxury apartments in South Florida. It is a page turning good read.
