The 'new' Moscow is a world-class city, the most expensive city in the world, the mecca for wealth, oligarchs, talent, ambition, and an attractor for young women. Midnight Moscow explores the many facets of this 'new' Moscow as it really is - far removed from the 'old' Moscow, or the Soviet Moscow. It is also a woman's story. The central character leaves her rural origins at the age of 21 to venture into and become successful in this new Moscow. Midnight Moscow is fiction but it is based on true stories and real events which happened in Moscow from 1998-2008.
