This volume contains 11 new papers on Shakespeare written by members of the Department of English at the University of Copenhagen and other Danish universities plus a few international Shakespeare scholars. They fit into an overall theme and are included because they are about Shakespeare -- as text, as theatre, in his age, and through the ages.
