This book tells the story of the last year of life of Richard B. Geller of New York City. A math teacher who died from metastasized malignant melanoma. It a compilation of messages and vignettes shared by many, especially Richard's wife Barbara, with the decedent's brother. One sees from the stories the valiant battle with cancer of a man who was valued by his family, friends and students. His mantra was "Math is #1."
