Detective Jaz Ballantine loses the best friend he has ever had when his foster-brother QC is murdered. As the bodies pile up in the morgue, Jaz realizes that he has a serial killer on his hands. Only this one has a completely different method of operating: all the victims are young, single, handsome, and African-American. His foster father Ed begs him to help bring QC's killer to justice. Much as Jaz hates to do it, he asks his ex-wife, the gorgeous Dhana, to profile the killer to try to track him down.
