A story that shows children that being kind to each other and making friends starts at a young age and how rewarding friendship is. The story tells of a young tadpole who wasnt allowed to play with the older frogs in his pond because he was too young. He was terribly lonely because he had no friends. When he grew into a full-grown frog, he remembered what that was like and how lonely it made him feel. He convinces all his new friends that just because their older everyone needs friends especially the youngest members of their community.

The little caterpillar tells the story of a young caterpillar who longs to become a butterfly so that he can take to the air and fly. Before he makes his transformation he is visited in his dreams by a guardian butterfly. The guardian tells him that in order to become a butterfly he must help others in his community by performing good deeds. The little caterpillar chooses to help the youngest members in his community to understand that helping others and being kind has rewards that last a lifetime.
