Q.M. Husain was simultaneously a litterateur, a social thinker, an educationist, a highly innovative player and patron of chess, and above all an accomplished academic and researcher in statistics. In every field that he was involved in, his contributions have been immense and successive generations have been inspired by his exemplary role. This book brings together the statistical contributions of QMH which had been scattered over various journals, some not so readily accessible.
