The book Antioxidant: a nutritional and therapeutic approach is a sort of review regarding consumption of vegetable and fruits as a source of antioxidant. The main purpose of this review is to assess the benefits of antioxidant and its role in preventing different diseases. The potentially beneficial constituents of different vegetable and fruits and its implication for dietary recommendation are also discussed.

The effect of root extracts (methanol and water) of Tectona grandis Linn. f. (Verbenaceae) on tussive was evaluated in an experimental Animal model. Treatment with aqueous extract and methanol extract 500 mg/kg p.o. dose level showed more effect on tussive as compared with the dose level of 250mg/kg p.o.
