In Anbetracht des Ersten Weltkriegs verfasste Rosa Luxemburg (1871-1919) im Jahr 1915 heimlich im Gefangnis ihre beruhmt gewordene Junius-Broschure, die kurz darauf illegal in Deutschland verbreitet wurde.
