The Council Regulation (EC) No 207/2009 on the Community trade mark (CTMR) gives the proprietor a uniform right to undistorted use of a trademark throughout the European Union. The trademark will be obtained in a single procedure from the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) in Alicante; and by that the application procedure will be made simpler and less expensive.
