Verbannte ist Joycens einziges, weithin unbekanntes Theaterstück, 1913/15 in Triest geschrieben, aber erst 1918 veröffentlicht. Das Stück erscheint hier in neuer Übersetzung von Klaus Reichert. Es steht zwischen dem 'Bildnis des Künstlers' und dem 'Ulysses'.
