In 1553 three ships sailed from London into uncharted waters. They sought a northern passage to Asia and its riches. Although they failed to reach China, their achievements would lay the foundations for England's expansion on a global stage.

The year is 1942. Following a Mid-Atlantic operation Oliver Pitman was chosen to command a new futuristic state of the art Submarine the likes of never seen before. A serious and potentially disastrous falling out with a senior Officer could put this Command and any promotion prospects at risk.
