This index was compiled using several sources: the index of wills at the Baltimore City Court House, a partial index to the wills compiled by the late Annie Walker Burns, the original Will Books at the Hall of Records in Annapolis, and the abstracts of Will Books, numbers 4 through 23, compiled by Mrs. Burns at the Maryland Historical Society.
