This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Modelling and Development of Intelligent Systems, MDIS 2022, held in Sibiu, Romania, during October 28–30, 2022.The 21 papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions.
