"I'm no saint." How many times have you heard something like this? It is an all too convenient excuse for having committed one of the seven deadly sins. It may come with an apology, or is more likely implied to be one. All is usually quickly forgiven and forgotten. It seems we generally accept this defense too willingly. Instead, why don't we actually strive to become saints? Wouldn't this resolve all of our self-created world problems?
