Not Growing is a story in verse about a small flower that feels too short for the garden. However, when he meets a flower planted in a shoe, he discovers that there is more than one way to be tall, and all flowers are pretty, worthy, and special. Eleven year old Alyssa Murray created this story for a school project, then added even more vivid illustrations to turn Not Growing into a book she could read to younger learners.
