LITTLE MUSICAL ANIMALS - ILLUSTRATED LITTLE MUSICAL ANIMALS began as 10 short stories about animals written in 1999 for my daughter Marina Cara Maret, when she was 7 years old. At that time, they remained unillustrated, as some of the animals were our pets, and playing with them was a part of how the stories were formed. Some of the animals were children's toys in imaginative play. Some were not toys or pets, just another living thing.
