The Bridgeport Writers Group began in January 2010 at the Bridgeport branch of the Sullivan Free Library, Chittenango, New York. None of its members are professional writers, though it does count four published authors among its ranks, one of whom is originally from the Philippines. Whether published or not, they all enjoy writing and meet once a month to share their "take" on a specific subject or theme.
