The lies and deception of others and her own self-deception, entangled and entrapped Belle in such a way that she felt she was caught in a great spider’s web, which had rendered her powerless and robbed her of all hope.

Belle, the main character in this novel, was given this hope through the self-less love and encouragement of others, and a new found faith in her creator, as she experienced her own healing and transformation.  As a result, she had a strong desire to pass this on to others. This started an altruistic circle. The snowball effect.
