Knowing what people in Transylvania used to cook allows me to take a glimpse at their wonderful history. And it is a fantastic one, full of events, even without the stories about vampires and Dracula. It is the history of working people, proud and bold but also deeply rooted in the land that keeps them alive. And so is their food: rich, made out of local, earthy ingredients, ingredients they grew and took care of.
