This is Kitty's first published collection of poems. Although many are very personal, she is a writer of fiction. However, she wrote about her mother's love of Phalaenopsis, the moth orchid in the poem "Dead Orchids." That poem was submitted to the 2013 Art In Your Eye festival, held in Batavia, Illinois.
