9/11 has produced several stories ... many of which have been about heroes that emerged on that day. In the midwest, two men - one an American and the other an ex-patriot of Saudi Arabia, had no clue that the death of their loved ones as a result of that day's treachery would years later inexorably intertwine both of them at a horse track in southern Kentucky.
