In 1943 the villagers of Tyneham and Worbarrow on Dorset's Jurassic coast were given notice to leave their homes to allow for military training ahead of the D-Day landings. They were never allowed to return. Today the remains of ancient cottages stand in tribute to the sacrifice that was made more than 70 years ago.
