At a University perched high on the south Cumberland Plateau a student publishes a letter condemning the school's Honor Code and claiming he cheated on his exams. That night another group calling themselves the Red Dagger Society abduct the writer returning him the next morning to the middle of campus chained in a flatbed truck and wearing molasses, cornflakes and feathers. As the Dean of the University investigates he finds a much more sinister undercurrent that threatens the fabric of social order at the school.
