The Farmer's Day Off is a slightly unrealistic piece told with a childlike perspective of what a farmer's day off might look like. A child's mind, both innocent and sweet can't possibly perceive that a farmer's work is never done. They only know what they see, and the rest falls on their vivid and untarnished imaginations.
