There are stories of Bear, Rabbit the Trickster, Otter, Possum, Bat and other traditional characters. Most of the stories have meaning at several different levels: They are fun and entertaining and most have a message to teach the young. The authors are active in the Native American Community in Appalachia and share different bloodlines from the People who have lived for many generations in our beloved West Virginia.
