The Joy of Writing is an exploration of the art of prose. Assessing writing in terms of style and substance, it discusses both how to write and what to write, as well as why to write, offering balanced overviews of key issues along the way. It is a book for those who have lost their way, and forgotten why they started in the first place. It is addressed to you, the struggling writer, who have forgotten how to get a tune out of your instrument. This book is designed to help you remember.

This book isn't intended as a serious guide about Teaching English. I would consider it more a rough idea on how to get you going on the journey that you might have in front of you. Part of the book is informative. The other part of the book is sheer entertainment about my trials and tribulations. I would hope that in reading my book you may be able to learn a point or two about teaching ESL in Asia.
