Violence rages between two species, on the planet Domesalle, over limited materials. After an already horrible war the continent Kaioat is separated into subdivisions and a Kyote named Ginzo endangers them all with his own plans. An alien named Zjuri crash lands on the planet as a child but must grow up quick if he wants to prevent another war.

After seeing the faults of the territories around him, Zjuri has decided to help out. The journey he has started is not for the faint of heart, so he insists on getting help. He may indeed get it from unlikely candidates.
