This is a story about our family. It starts in North Korea, where I was born and raised during the Japanese colonial rule; lived under an equally harsh Communist regime in the early days of the Cold War; fled to South Korea and survived the Korean war but not without a family tragedy; and came to the USA to get an education, where I settled and raised a family. This is also the story of how Christian faith has kept our family strong and helped us overcome the hardships along the way.
