About the Author Thomas Lee Rhymes has written over 700 poems, short stories and lyrics. He expresses his feelings toward his works and the reader in this manner: "I never know when or where I'll receive another poem or story. I've lost so many because I didn't have pen or paper when the words began to come. I feel more comfortable with poems that have a life-lesson or important statement or idea and a thought-provoking ending. I prefer poems that take the reader into a situation that is quickly understood, make a point of some kind and lead them out."
