A finales del siglo XVIII, Victoria, la hija mayor de una familia que cae en desgracia y de cuya riqueza solo queda su nombre, se ve obligada a contraer matrimonio contra su voluntad. La moral y principios de la epoca no le permiten llevar su vida tal y como desea, debiendo renunciar al profundo amor que siente por un joven que no esta a su altura para asi poder cumplir con los ancestrales mandatos. Sin embargo, no todo es lo que parece ser, por lo que se ve envuelta en una lucha de pasiones, ambiciones y culpas que ponen en riesgo su propia vida y la de los seres a quien ama."

Two women living in different times and places intertwine their experiences and their fates. While one struggles for survival the other tries to find herself. Both need to be something more than that for which they seem predestined, but they must face gender discrimination and old social stereotypes.
