"Stories of a Polished Pistil: Lace and Ruffles" consists of poems, prose, and short stories compiled into three characters. The book covers love, friendship, heartbreak, spirituality, abuse, cultural conflict, affirmations, and femininity. Each character has their own chapter and it is within those chapters that the reader is able to follow their beautiful highs, deep lows, and some of the misters encountered a long the way.
